Hi. Dosbox is pretty damn good. I have easypc running well and now am trying to get an 8031 programming software package(kanda) going. However, I cant seem to get the hash symbol (35) to map to my key3. I have tried changing keyboards, region settings, and now considering using another kb driver just for this program. Can I use the keymapper? maybe Ive been using it wrongly. I can change most other keys I need using keymapper. Can you give me any help.

Thanks.

Take care.

you would need to use the keymapper to map a key to our virtual 3
and then press that key together with shift.

didn't check if we did actually put that key correctly though
else you can use xkeyb.com from freedos to load a different keymap in dosbox.

Hi thanks for the reply. I find the symbol shows in th dosbox prompt ok
and if I do alt 35 as well(in kanda). I have tried mapping the hash to key3 in so many permutations Im dizzy. I have altered the mapper.txt file by hand but still cannot get the correct operation. I will try to get the freedos kb mapper and run with that if poss. I may be some time.

Thanks again.
see you later.
Take care.
