hi.

i've been using dosbox with the emulated sb16, but i was wondering can i tell dosbox to use my windows midi drivers in winxp?

like instead of playing dosbox with sb16 emu, can it use windows default "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" driver that windows media player uses?

Simply tell your game to play through general MIDI (or the Roland option, if it doesn't have a GM option). DOSBox automatically passes GM events along to the Windows driver.

It is not possible to "convert" SB16 sound into MIDI, though.
