In SETTINGS I am set to LARGEST. LOOKS LIKE 1182x665
Master of Orion 2 ( actually looks like every game I try)
I cannot get the games to FULL SCREEN
The settings in this thread Dosbox scaling for resizing a SVGA 640x480x256 game improved things to about 50% of screen size.
I have given you the "RESOLUTION" I think but I have no idea how to determine the rest of this >> Video mode (Software, OpenGL, Direct3D, or Glide, and resolution)
---------------EDIT Ok I have now tried all of these settings and none made any change to the size of the screen.
Current VIDEO CONFIG SETTINGS
[sdl]
# fullscreen -- Start dosbox directly in fullscreen.
# fulldouble -- Use double buffering in fullscreen.
# fullresolution -- What resolution to use for fullscreen: original or fixed size (e.g. 1024x768).

Ok. Saw this thread DosBox FAQ and my eyes stuck on this.>>>> One example of such a question would be, ... How do I run DOSBox in fullscreen mode? Phew that was hard to get over my lips. Don't fry me... pritty please. smiling face with horns

So far I've compiled an incomplete FAQ "I know winking face" into a Word doc, sorry as of yet for the Linux/Mac people. The current one is in the attachment. I haven't got round to reading and rechecking what I've got crammed in there, but at the moment consists of about 6 pages of well reading.

OH Joy I thought. Maybe this is the answer.

NOPE!!!. After wading through it, I still cannot get Fullscreen. I also cannot get WINDOWED in anything approaching FULLSCREEN.

Ok. Found this thread that seems to indicate that someone that knows what they are doing is interested in getting DosBox to do Full Screen easier.

HELP ME! My display freaks out when using DOSBox fullscreen.....

If appears to be out of date though since it says

To solve this problem...

Edit dosbox.conf (inside your DOSBox folder) using a text editor (like Notepad, if you are using Windows). And look for the two parameters (must be editted together):

fullfixed=false
fullresolution=1024x768

These are the default parameters for DOSBox, i.e, not use a FIXED resolution when going fullscreen. We want to specify one, so we must change the values to...

fullfixed=true
fullresolution=1280x1024

The example above will make DOSBox always switch to 1280X1024 resolution when running FULLSCREEN.

To start, the Config doesn't have a "fullfixed=" anymore.

I tried
fullscreen=true
fulldouble= in both "true" and "false"
fullresolution=640x480 (Master of Orion default I think)
windowresolution= "original" and 640x480

Nothing changes.

I just made a STUNNING discovery on my Win7Pro machine that I play games on.

In the Gog.com > MOO@ folder is a Configuration GUI.

Why isn't there such a thing for the Linux Build?
