Hi, so I have come here from the doom community because I have not been able to get a good answer to this question there. So I like playing doom on dosbox for the authenticity that it provides, however, I am struggling with one issue that makes the playing experience much worse for me. I am having sound issues. The music works great, I am using virtualmidisynth for that and it is perfect quality and I have no issues with that. My problem is with the SFX. It is either very crackly or very delayed. The more sounds playing at once, the more crackly it is. I have tried many different values for the sound settings and I can't quite get it work well. Any ideas?
