Hi all, I urgently need help.
I'm using Dosbox to start a road design program, (Leonardo software house) when I go to print the excavation and fill volumes, halfway through it freezes and the error comes out:
Internal Error - String Space Corrupt
Unable to change to: strade.
USERP.CFG
1 File(s) copied. C:\>
P.S. The wording "strade" is the name of the directory.

From the programmer's point of view, the "String Space Corrupt" error message might indicate there is some kind of collection/database of strings, and that collection/database is damaged in some way, like maybe bits flipped during copying from floppy, etc. The app had checked the CRC/hash, or found the loop while scanning that structure's tree, and reported the erroneous condition.
The resulting "unable to change to" might be or might be not the consequence of the previous failure.

Unfortunately DOSBox does not offer support for non-game applications.
Are you sure that the error is Dosbox's fault and not a problem with the software? Try it in other emulators (PCem, Virtualbox, Dosbox-X etc).
