Whenever I try to install a game from my a:\, it claims there's not enough space on my harddrive, even though there obviously is. My friend told me it was because DOS doesn't recognize harddrives that are 10 gigs (give or take) or more. Is this true? Also, does this have anything to do with properly "mounting" the hard drives, because I still haven't figured out how to do that, and the readme and forums haven't provided any help.

Read the readme.

"Mount C C:\ -freesize 50"

Mounts the Virtual C:\ showing 50mb of freespace.

By default DosBox emulates 110mb.

It also might help if you mention the game since someone may have already had this problem.

Also,

DOS doesn't recognize HD space. The filesystem does. MS-DOS 6.22 supports FAT16 with supports 2GB partitions. So you could have a 10gb HD split up into multiple 2gb partitions. With MS-DOS 7+ you can use FAT32 with supports ...crap can't remember FAT32's max....but it's alot.
