Hi, At the moment im typing in all my mounting commands every time I run dosbox but I understand I can make it so they are automatically run every time I start the program.

Usually I type something like this:

mount C C:\
mount D D:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl
C:

How do I make them run automatically? Cheers.

Got some time?
Then follow the link right close to the top of this forum
"READ DOSBOX GUIDES FORUM" READ DOSBOX GUIDES FORUM (getting started, speeding up, game-specific help!)

Then go to the Dosbox Guides Forum and there two guides spring to the eye:
"60 seconds guide to getting your game to run in DOSBox" and "The Newbie's Pictorial Guide To DOSBox".
Both give the answer to your question.
I am writing this in this fashion to spare you grief in other forums where people are really intolerant towards people who don't read what's already there.

No offense meant.
Happy gaming.

There is a magic neat [autorun] section at the end of your dosbox.conf file. Do you guess what's its purpose?

RFTM!

PS - All people lazy enough to not bothering reading the documentation, should get a front-end and stop asking the same questions over and over... No offense intended here either. Just talking to myself.

Just enter any command that you would in DosBox in the autoexec section.

So

"Mount c C:\" in DosBox would be.
"Mount c c:\" in the autoexec section of DosBox.conf.
