I noticed that DOSbox 0.63 now actually emulates the old soundblaster. I rather liked the sound of all that MIDI stuff being played on my SB Live 5.1 in previous editions of DOSbox (in particular in Elder Scrolls: Arena; only problem was that the game ran abominably slow), especially with the more realistic soundfonts I put in for MIDI editing some time ago. Is there a way I can get DOSbox to just use the standard settings? I tried setting the SB Emulation to "none," but that just made the program crash when I started a game. Any help would be appreciated.

This hasn't changed in DOSBox, but you've changed the game's settings. Run the game's setup and tell it to use General MIDI/Roland sound. With the DOSBox default settings, this will be passed on to whatever MIDI device you have set up.
