This is old news but I was browsing the D-Fend site and saw this:

FORUM IS GONE

The D-Fend forum is down. I wasn't informed this would happen so it took me by surprise. I removed the link to the old forum. I don't know if or when there will be a new forum.

Perhaps VOGONS could host a D-Fend forum?

Haven't talked to the D-Fend author yet. Just throwing a suggestion out there.

Is D-Fend the best Win32 frontend for DosBox?

In my opinion it is. 😉 Its a very good utility for making a collection of games each with their own configurations....easy to use to.

I think a dfend section would be great.

D-Fend is definitely the most popular frontend. I've been thinking that it might be good to have a DOSBox frontends forum here on VOGONS anyways, and now it looks like there might be an even better reason for having one.
