Hello,

whenever I start dosbox it says that I am running it in 24 bpp mode. I just found out that it might be better to run it in 16 bpp mode? But I dont know how to change it? can someone help?

Wichever Operating System your using you'll need to change the HOST desktop color.

On Windows XP right-click your desktop, go to properties, settings, and then change color quality to 16bit.

In Linux each distro is different as far as the GUI configuration of configuring X but if you poke around in their version of the Start Menu then you'll be able to find it. I would tell ya how to change it from the CLI but I don't want you to screw up your system.
