I would like to make img images from floppies, and then boot them (want to use the bootdisk of windows 95). How do I make its image? I've tried some tools but i get this error message:

1Opening image file: bootdisk.img
2Booting from drive A...
3
4Disk I/O Error
5Replace the disk and then press any key

Back in "imgmount" - yes, "boot" - no... towards the end we've established that (in the Microsoft series) only images with MS-DOS<=6.22 can be bootable in DOSBox.

As for tools, I personally recommend the freeware Flopper's disk2img (it's inside Flopper's ZIP file).

You can also use RawWrite or RawWrite for Windows.

If the problem appears even when using different image
tools, maybe somebody could upload an image that shows
the Disk I/O Error (the boot sector might be enough).
