When im playing Space Quest 1, and i am in a bar an plays on a machine slot, I need to press F8 to play, but in DosBox that has anoter function...is it any possibility to disable that function?

When I run space quest 1. I get an error that says Pleas instert your ORIGINAL disk. How do I bypass this because I have the orignal disk!
This is the copy protection that was built into the game. You must have the original disk version, because the later version released on CD-ROM had the copy protection removed. Links to abandonware sites are not permitted on this forum, but a usable copy should be easy enough to find with a little effort.

If you talk about copy protection, you must be using the original Space Quest, not the beefed up vga version.
This old version is best run with sarien or nagi, both are replacements for the old interpreters and thus bypass the copyprotection.
