Currently this doesn't happen and it's very awkward. A game like say, riddle of master lu, can use the full sensitivity, while a game like innocent until caught needs at least half of it to be bearable.

What really convinced me about this is the resolution mod for system shock where you can go up to unusual dos resolutions and the sensitivity absolutely needs to be adjusted every time.

I'm proposing that mouse sensitivity be multiplied by resolution area and the default value adjust so that the most common DOS resolution fits comfortably with 100 sensitivity and every time a game changes resolution that is detected and 'real' sensitivity updated. Bigger areas get a bigger multiplier, smaller less (maybe not linear? I don't think i understand the best scale for this).
