Hi Dosbox devver type peoples 😘

Dunno if this would fit easily within the DOSBox framework (or break multiplatform compatibility), but I feel a welcome feature would be to provide the possibility to choose the video and audio output device (when you have multiple monitors or sound card outputs)

Mame (for example) supports choosing what monitor to output to (great for when you have a TV (or projector in my case 😊) hooked up as the second monitor... play DOS games full screen on my wall while my main desktop is free to use... that would.. omg 🙄

Same thing goes for the directsound device (does dosbox support directsound? Must check the docs), instead of just using the default device, make it possible to select the one you prefer to use..

Discuss!

video and audio is handled through sdl. Take a look at http://www.libsdl.org/cgi/docwiki.cgi/Environ … ent_20variables some SDL parameters can be adjusted with environment variables...

If you're running it from a batch file, i think the "SET xyz=abc" should
be working, if not see Control Panel - System where one of the tabs
has a button Environment Variables or so.
