I found a problem with auto cycles.
When running some games in the CVS,
Alone in the Dark
Alone in the Dark 2
Ultima 6
Ultima 7
Ultima 7 Serpent Isle
,then setting cycles to auto doesn't set auto or max, but switches to 3000 cycles every time.
For the ultima series this happens when going from the MainMenu.Exe (the menu) to UX.exe (the game itself).
For the Alone in the dark series it happens on startup.
I've tried to find out what version started showing the problem, but this problem already shows in the 21-12-2006 version (the first one of the previous CVS compiles).
Changing other parameters in the conf file doesn't change anything.
EDIT : Found a mentioning of this in the announcements of 0.66b2.
Also found a strange stall (500ms) in the latest CVS version when running Alone in the Dark 2 (The one fixing Albion). But I haven't tracked down the version that started showing the problem. This could be a problem with the auto cycles switch to 3000 (afterwards having cranked it up to 20000).
