With 0.70 the way DOSBox locates its config files has changed. And we know have the multi-conf option too.

I think it would be valuable, if the status window would list the location of each config file that is being read.

it prints out the ones reads as far as I know.
Not the locations it tries though.

Hmm, yes I see that it emits CONFIG status lines. But then I think I have found an error.

In a Windows CMD I set HOME="C:\Documents and Settings\MiniMax". In %HOME% I have a tiny dosbox.conf with cycles=321.

I chdir to C:\Programs , and start DOSBox-0.70\dosbox.exe, and all I get in the status window is

CONFIG: Using default settings. Create a configfile to change them.

And my cycles stay at the default 3000.
