Where's a good source for me to find out how I can add these features to Dosbox?

1)A keystroke that FORCES a drop to command prompt for those games that have no "exit to DOS" option or keystroke (i.e. CTRL-Q). (Wolfenstein, etc)

2.)an UNMOUNT command so that you can replace a C mounting to C:\games with a new C mounting to D:\SAVES (replace with your own favorite paths)

I have seen a lot on this site for source but I don't know enough to compile solo, so perhaps an area I can bring up the two features and then meet with people online to get the small project going.

There's an unmount patch (I think ykwon's) so is this going to be introduced in a future release or do I/we have to re-code into a new release?
OR more accurately how to I get that patch to become an added feature in a new release (or make a patch that would be added)
