Hello,

I have just made the old virtual printer patch (from sourceforge, dated 2004) to work with vanilla DosBox 0.72 on Linux. The patch emulates an Epson compatible printer, and outputs to PS, PNG and BMP. I am willing to improve the patch / go through whatever hoops neccessary to get it integrated into the mainline. Is anyone interested?

(The reason why I did it was that my father needed to print from old DOS application - ChiWriter, which unfortunately has custom printing drivers.)

This is (imho) one of the most important patches around here. Yes, I want this patch for linux and yes I want this patch to make it into cvs... .!!

So, what is that status of this patch?? Is it going to be integrated into a future version (or current version) of DosBox ???

We need to print from Pads2000 !!!
