What does UART Midi in DOSBox mean as compared to Intelligent Midi? It seems that the UART MPU-401 setting works with games that require a Roland MPU-401 interface like the Sierra SCI0 games or Ultima VII. As I understand it, most DOS games that did not work in common UART-only MPU-401 sound cards like the Sound Blaster 16 could have worked if they merely ACKnowledged Intelligent commands. Is DOSBox's UART mode doing just that?
