Hi

i download the newest cvs and want to compile. I get a error message in midi_alsa.

SND_SEQ_OPEN' undeclared (first use this function)

after deleting the "else tree" in #def the error go away. 😀

I use the newest alsa Version 1.0.0rc2.
maybe the if switch isn't up-to-date ?

by the way the sound never work for me, always get "Couldn't open ESD connection" but that's a other problem 😉

I get this as well, I put it down to it being ALSA 1.0 as a fair bit of other stuff is broken too (pretty much everything that relies on ALSA 0.9.x headers). This usally happens in situations like this, it's like backaward compatibility is some kind of foreign concept to open source developers.

I "fixed" it in the CVS
but because of the lag of SF.net you're still suffering from it.
