Sorry for making you repeat again. Some inside working of dosbox can only be understood by
inspecting/stepping thru the code on the debugger.
I found that most of the errors are gone after compiling a release build.
How can I make a debug build of dosbox for ver 0.74 and yhkwong builds?

you just build in debug and AFAIK the only additional lib you need is ncurses...
