I recently moved to a different Linux distro, and feeling lazy, decided to install the system package of DOSBox rather than building from SVN myself. Then I realized that distros only package formal releases and that running stock 0.74 puts me four years out of date and went and built from SVN source after all. That got me to thinking: how does the DOSBox team decide when code is ready to be formally released? Also, I've noticed that there hasn't been any commits to SVN since January, does that mean something is afoot or just that nobody's fixed anything big enough to be worth pushing upstream since then?
