Hello!
I've got a problem running dosbox under Mandrake Linux 9.2. Everything compiled perfectly, but when I try run the binary from the src-folder I only get the following error from the x-server:

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 148 (MIT-SHM)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_ShmPutImage)
Serial number of failed request: 49
Current serial number in output stream: 50

has somebody a tip for me what has happed here? 😢

Hmm. I see this same BadMatch when I start a freshly-compiled 0.61. Configure options don't appear to be a factor. I'm running a custom LFS distro with XFree 4.3.0.1 and SDL 1.2.6.

Guess I'm stuck with 0.60 until the problem's resolved.

(Shouldn't this thread be moved to DOSBox Development? This pertains to a potential bug, after all.)

(etc..)

For reference, that post was me. I've registered now.

Wanted to let you know that I ran an strace of DOSBox 0.61 on my system. Output log should be attached below. Hope it'll be of some help...
