Has anyone else noticed audio distortion and times of audio slowdown when using the Overlay graphic output?
Any other graphic output does not exhibit this for me and the audio is fine.
It's a thing I have noticed going back to even my XP system.

My current system is: Windows 10 64bit, I7-4790k, 16GB ram
When the audio distortion and slow down happens I bring up the task manager and my CPU is nowhere close to 100%. The number of cycles, the resolution, or any other setting has no effect in curing it. Happens to pretty much any game if you listen for it. Some recent ones I checked it on were: Bio Menace, Drakkhen, Magic Candle (sounds like corrupt speaker pop here).

As I understand, overlay relies partially on hardware and uses a color encoding which is connected with RGB via decimal operations. Either of these factors may cause the problem on your side.
