You might get further if you run these builds with sudo and a disk image you boot in Dosbox. Otherwise normal Dosbox doesn't support that at all and you need to compile a version yourself.

You're saying MB6 for MAC with ne2000.com, inorder to connect, needs to be RUN w/SUDO & 'DISK IMAGE' I boot in DOSBox.
I would need a 'HINT' pulling this off on a MacBook Pro. I do not feel comfortable at its CLI using SUDO, nor the disk image you speak of I boot in DOSBox.

I just tried to launch it and this error was trapped:

Search the forum for solutions with Daum, but Daum is buggy and its OS X version terrible.

And further, all these non-standard builds are not supported here - for help write the people who made them available.

PS. Micro has NO ethernet, only WiFi

you would need to patch the dosbox source. But AFAIK that patch only works with ethernet connection, not WiFi.

Ethernet/Wifi doesn't matter, since a hard wired ethernet adapter is available for mac and will confirm interface works, in shop, before purchase.

Well, ethernet/wifi DOES matter since you need to have it hard wired when you try it.
