I noticed that the one and only website that has unmodified "vanilla" Windows builds of DOSBox SVN is EmuCR according to the DOSBox wiki. https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/SVN_Builds but also these versions do not support screen-shots. The wiki even says this. If I do attempt to take a screen-shot with Ctrl+F5, it causes it to crash. Is there any place I can download the latest SVN Windows version that actually supports all the features as the standard release version of DOSBox, including screenshots? If not, please consider compiling me a copy. I don't know how to do it myself.

You want DOSBox ECE edition, it's a fully featured Vanilla build with more patches.
It's built by Yesterplay80 a user on Vogons, it even has a thread here on DOSBox Development board.

Nope. Don't want it with more patches. I want it vanilla, but having all the same feature capabilities as the standard DOSBox. Any extra functionality should be the result of it simply being a more recent version of the official DOSBox code. Patches are user created, unofficial code that is added in. I don't want any patched in features, because that won't give an accurate picture of the official state of development of DOSBox (it will have stuff in it, that won't be present when the next official version of DOSBox is released). I don't want to get dependent on unofficial features, because then when the next official version is released, and I download it and switch to using it, I'll have to adjust to not having those extra features available.

In fact, your statement of it being a vanilla build with patches, is a statement that contradicts itself. By definition, vanilla means ONLY using official code, and not so much as one byte of code changed by the the person compiling it.

Why don't you just not use those extra features, then..? It's not like you sign some kind of license agreement obliging you to use them.

Anyway, if your requirements are so exacting, why don't you learn how to compile it yourself? It can't be that difficult, and then you won't be dependent on someone else providing you with a build (and risk having it tainted by horrible extra features you won't use).

The ECE build has only several non-intrusive patches, meaning if they are not enabled you get fully featured vanilla, it even looks like vanilla dosbox (no extra menus or toolbars).
And thanks to you too..

Even if you don't want any ECE features, that page should have a vanilla SVN build too. The one called "DOSBox SVN r4022.7z". The page states:

I regularly compile the source code released on SourceForge into an unmodified version and an enhanced version containing various patches with improvements

Exactly, the file "DOSBox SVN rXXXX.7z" is a plain vanilla build of DOSBox without any additional patches but with all the features (except the debugger). I just uploaded r4023 some minutes ago as well!

@videogamer555, yes I completely forgot YP80 has a full featured vanilla build.
You can build your own as quick as the SVN rolls with this guide: https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Building_DOSBox_with_MinGW
