Guide to the DOSBox debugger

The debug window appeares but how to interact with the debug window?
If I press "minus key" then only a "-" appears in dosbox commandline.
If the debug wintow is active (in foreground) and I press any key then the debug window stops doing anything.
However I cannot see any typed in letter.

Can anybody help?

Did not you play with keyboard mapper in CVS (CTRL + F1)? Delete mapper.txt and try it again. It should work.
BTW: you may want to delete mapping of - on numeric keyboard: at present time both debugger and - are mapped on it (so it switches to debugger, but also writes -).

I deleted the file and the entry in the config-file and now it works.
