Dear all,

Running dosbox v0.74 on a win 7 enterprise with config core=normal I have the following problem.

In the good old days when we had to buy a math coprocessor, Intel provided software to test floating point conformance. The original Intel-software can be downloaded e.g. from https://winworldpc.com/product/386sx-math-coprocess/10. When running this I have a failed scale-test...

(To reproduce, execute "runmcp", then option 2, then option 3.)

Any ideas? Is there a problem with the FPU emulation? Thanks for looking into this.

Kind regards,
JD

I am surprised we passed so many 😉. The coprocessor emulation has been developped looking how UFO world looked, so it is possible we have something wrong.
Let me take a look at it.

edit: mmm my current local copy has 2/3 failed for all tests. Wonder what I have wrong my own code. (ah different fpu core selected )
