Here is a idea for some more DOSBox commands:
(with their syntax)
unmount {dosbox drive letter} {real drive letter}:\ -t {type)
This will unmount the drive you enter whitch is handy as I sometimes mount the wrong drives

lconfig {mounted path}
Loads the config file of your choice, restarts DOSBox and loads it with that one. You can also put a /d switch at the end to make it the default DOSBox config.

If you could put it in that would be great! 😀

🤣 I still miss doing "dir /ad" which was to list all directories. At least you can do "dir /p". 😀
Yeah those two com files for DOSBox would be especially nice.

dir /s same purpose

No it doesn't, dir /s lists the contents of all subdirectories wheras dir/ad lists all the directories and not the files.

will see if /ad is doable.

umount support. been thinking of that. Maybe. I still think that restarting is much more simple 😀

About completely restarting dosbox on a keypress: well dosbox is designed that it should be able to work that way. Never tested it in practice 😀 ( so configuration changes on running machines are possbile by shutting down a subsystem and restarting it. )

Should work for the full machine as well.
