INSTALATION:
1.Unzip files to empty directory
2.Run MIXFILE to create starting data file
3.Add to AUTOEXEC section in DOSBOX.CONF (emulated autoexec.bat) following line (files extracted into D:\MIXER):
D:\MIXER\MIXINIT
You can extract to another directory
4.Close and run again DosBox.

USAGE (when you change a sound volume):
1.Enter the directory, where you extracted program
2.Run MIX
3.Change volume:
Left,right Arrows: select channel (device)
Up,down Arrow: Change volume
4.Press ESC

This program was written using Turbo Pascal 7.0. If you want to change, modify, modernize etc., do it and post modified version.

Nifty, 😜. Of course you must run all of this in DOSBox or it gives you runtime erros in WindowsXP.
Two things that really come to mind to make it more useful:
1) Being able to move by increments of like 10 with PgUP/PgDN
2) Moving both Left/Right sides at the same time.

That's it. Nicely done. We've got some DOS programming back. Lol.

This is the next build of Mixer:
Added:
- Changing volume by 10 using PgUp and PgDown
- Changing volume in both channels an the time is now possible

All programs must be run in DosBox 0.62.
