Downloaded BananaCom
Created the following DOSBox configuration file named "modem.conf":
```
1[modem]
2modem=true
3comport=2
4listenport=23
```
Launched DOSBox with "-conf modem.conf"
Ran BananaCom (renamed as BCOM.EXE).
Added a new dialer entry: 192.168.1.102.80
PS: I now know this entry is illegal.
Tried to connect to my new entry.
After a couple of minutes of inactivity, suddenly this dialog box showed up:

IMPORTANT FOLLOW UP:

The failed assertion has NOTHING to do with BananaCom. Seems like I forgot an import step:

You can make it appear in Windows XP by:

1) Enabling modem support in the configuration file.
2) Start DOSBox.
3) Open a TELNET session to 127.0.0.1:23 from the host OS (i.e. Windows XP).
4) Wait a couple of minutes and - BLAM!
