Hi. I'm getting a weird VGA palette bug occuring with the game 'Backlash'. I've read some of the other palette bug posts but this seems to be a bit different. It happens when an enemy first appears on screen, and I think it's something to do with the 'detailed enemy scan' thingy in the bottom right corner. If I press F6 or F7 to go into a different mode, the palette bug doesn't occur, but as soon as you go into F5 mode with an enemy (ie. the detailed enemy scan appears in the corner), the palette totally screws up for that level. It's easier to see the phenomenon by actually playing the game (it'll happen soon at the start of the first level, so is easy to replicate), so i've attached it to this post.

Interestingly, this doesn't happen when I run the game in Windows with VDMsound, so it appears that running the game natively with a modern gfx card (Geforce3 Ti200 in my case) works ok.

Why might this bug be happening? Nothing appears in the debug window when the palette screws up.
