These are questions I would ask to anyone of you more expert into emulation field.
I tried to find infos on google but there isn't an unified opinion about that.
Which are the main differences between "dynamic recompilation" and "direct execution"?
and "virtualization" is another thing or is a name for one of the above?
There are other similar methods of emulation?

Direct execution means no emulation at all. You just run the program on the hardware it's supposed to be run on.

I guess that some people write "direct execution" when they mean virtualization, but that's another matter.
