Hello all,

I'm running Betrayal in Antara thru Windows 3.1 on Dosbox. The game runs fine until I try to load a saved game, in which case it says "ERROR: Could not open database file! (TRW_FLAG.WDB)". I've already tried the troubleshooting suggestion included on the CD, which says to load SHARE.EXE before running Windows 3.1. I also tried loading VSHARE.386, but it didn't work either. Any suggestions?

Installation of the game went fine i assume, and you're not just
running the game off the cdrom?

Yes. I installed the game onto the hard drive. I should also mention I installed all the other requisite packages (WIN32S, VFW11, etc), and am running DOSBox 0.72 on WinXP.

As a side note, I am running with Core = Dynamic. I did try using Core = normal, but then WIN32S refuses to load, saying, "Initialization of a DLL failed ..."

As I have read that others have successfully played Antara in DOSBox, I am wondering if they have also encountered this error ...
