I was so excited to start playing Conquests of Camelot. I remember its sequel, Conquests of the Longbow, from when it came out. I must have played it dozens of times--it was a great game. I made about 829375948 Nine Men's Morris boards in shop class because of that game.

Anyway, I can't quite get this game to work, mainly because I am computer illiterate, apparently. I managed to install it, figured out dosbox, sort of, and it was all ready to play, but when I type in the command to start, I get this message: "Couldn't install video driver!"

Frustration!

I searched old posts on this forum and found two pieces of advice, both of which I've checked. They are:

1) Make sure the game is installed with EGA/VGA.
--it is.

2) Make sure there is a file called EGA320.drv on the game disk or folder.
--there is.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I should try? I am at a loss.

Could you post the contents of the RESOURCE.CFG file as well as (a screenshot of) the directory listing?
