Help with Stetch Drive in DosBox

I have been using DosBox quite successfully to use a really simple program called Stretch Drive. Anyway, now that I have got the new version of DosBox it has stopped working properly. The program creates some notepad files for me, but now it won't. Everytime it gets to the stage of creating a notepad file it says there was in error in line 65 or something. I tried using an older version of DosBox and same thing...did something change somewhere?
I would appreciate the help in solving this problem.

You'll need to post more info if you want a solution, since mind-reading is rarely practiced by people on this forum.

For example, what is your computer system like (CPU, graphics card, operating system version), which DOSBox version and where did you get it from, are you using a front-end, what's your DOSBox config file like, what exact error message do you get, does DOSBox itself produce any error messages in the console window, etc. Anything of that sort you can think of.
