Years ago I used the MoM editor emagic to edit my savegames whenever something needed to be changed.

Now that I´m playing MoM again I tried to alter some of my AI opponents stats using that editor.

I unzipped the file into the D:\MPS\Magic directory where my game is located.

Trying to run emagic under Windows XP SP3 did let me start the editor - but after the welcome screen the game froze completely (despite trying the compatibility mode for first Win98/Me and then Win95).

Usind Dfend Reloaded/Doxbox 0.74 I can run the editor, load a saved game and even use nearly all functions of the editor, e.g. making changes to the maps special resources works fine and saving the game again works.

However whenever I chose the "ALTER" option in which the wizards skills are listed the editor automatically exits that option again, as if the X for exit was pressed. That happens regardless if I press A key to enter the option of click the button for the option.

Any idea what can ause that?
