PSPICE has its own spead diagnostic tool. With DOSBOX on windows 8 it says info_dosbox.txt and on XP it says info_xp.txt.

If DOSBox is behaving differently in your Windows 8 installation than it is in your Windows XP installation, then you are using different configuration files. DOSBox should behave the same way under both Windows 8 and Windows XP as long as you use the same DOSBox.conf.
