Hello, I decided to move from WIN XP to WIN 7-32 bit, but I'm facing dificulties to make some parts of mine old DOS program to work in full screen. I read a lot of posts and try several combinations, but it doesn't work. It's a old data base file in DOS where the EXE file is in one location, but the target folder is on another location, so I don't know how to solve this in DOSBox. Did anyone made this work?
So the original shortcut of program is like this : CMD Line c:\gsd\mfk.exe and working c:\gsd\firme\ptpt, so I created DOSBox shortcut like this: Target "C:\program files\DOSBox--074\DOSBox.exe" "C:\gsd\mfk.exe" but I get error masage when the program starts. I think it is becouse the working line from original shortcut should be put somewher, but I don't know how to handle this 😒 .
If anyone had same pls.help?
bye

First of all, Dosbox is not for programs but for games, it's not guranteed to work correctly.

To solve your problem, move c:/gsd into a new folder called c:/dos.
Then start dosbox WITHOUT any commands.
In dosbox use those commands:
Mount c c:/dos
C:
Cd gsd/firme/ptpt
C:/gsd/mfk.exe
