I'm attempting to run, among other Sierra games, Leisure Suit Larry 6, and while simutaneously trying to get it working in Win98 with VDMSound, and Dosbox in XP, I haven't managed to get the speech to work in either, but the music plays brilliantly! It doesn't say that it can't detect a soundcard either, it just doesn't play speech and instead shows up the text dialog for a split second, not enough time to read the text, which leads me to believe it thinks it is speaking, it just isn't! Has anyone else encountered this?
