I cant seem to get Privateer 2 to work on my computer. I read on the DosBox site (and an earlier post on this forum) that the game can only be run using an earlier. So, I downloaded and installed DosBox 0.61 ... however, it isnt working.

I also tried to follow someone elses post, but the posting just stopped with no resolution.

So, at this time, I wanted to appeal to those of you out there for help. When I run the game, DosBox starts up, and the game begins to load ... and then, when the game is done loading the "..........." across the screen, the program crashes.

I am on a decent computer (Pentium 3 3Ghz, 1GB memory, plenty of HD space, running Windows Media Center edition)
