I've been playing Elite Plus (1991) on DOSBox (tested both on normal DOSBox and DOSBox-X) and I'm running into an issue where, when using my joystick, the Pitch and Roll range indicators never reach their maximum. I'm unsure if this is a quirk of the game and maybe was always like this even on original hardware, or if it's an emulation issue. Anyone can help me verify which it is?

I'll note this doesn't happen in any other game I use the joystick on, from MechWarrior 2 to different versions of X-Wing and Tie Fighter.

Have you calibrated your joystick?

Yes, I did notice that this game weirdly does not ask you to move the joystick at all during calibration, only to leave it centered, unlike all the other old DOS space games I have (Wing Commander, X-Wing and Tie Fighter), but I have done it.
