I love the original xwing with the imuse system, much better than the crappy 95 version. Anyway, the most anoying thing on the DOS version of X-Wing was the throttle on the joystick wasn't implemented. Believe it or not, back then joystick where new, and throttles un-hear of!

Anyway, somone fixed it with a TSR called joy.com usually in a zip called xwjoy.com (I have this file) however it won't work in DOSBOX. Can't see why either. The joystick works, but the TSR doesn't. 😖

I'm playing the 95 version right now, with no music (even it has problems with xp!) but would much rather play the dos version.

Has anyone else got it working or have another solution?
