I was absolutely thrilled to comple the CVS code and find that they have added (or fixed) the Tandy 4-color graphics mode since running Deskmate 2 from my old 1000 TX on my PC has always been something I've wanted to do. The problem is that the fonts seem to be missing. The program runs and the graphics are all there but the text shows up as little dots instead of actual text. Has anyone been able to make this work? I'm not much of a C++ programmer as I came from the VB world so I wouldn't have a clue on where to begin looking for a soluton. I'm attaching a copy of Deskmate 2 (400k) if anyone wants to mess with it.

Removed the program as it seriously looks like copyrighted software,
if uploading something please try to find some demo/freeware version
of the application/game.

It was present, but never worked because nothing used this mode.

They are writing directly to the graphics memory, but there wasn't
anything odd about this. Could be that they need some fonts to be
present in the ROM, not sure how this looked like on the Tandys.
The text that is not rendered from fonts (F1...) is displayed fine.

A link that's in the Wikipedia Deskmate entry. Collection of Deskmate files, including the program itself and various versions of it.

I gave it a go myself, being a old Tandy 1000TX owner, and I too got no fonts. There's no readable text anywhere. I'm using Personal Deskmate 2.

yeah I used that option. The graphics are there but there's no text.
