- cpu: Pentium 4 @ 2.40 GHz
- ram: 512 MB
- video board: GeForce 4 Ti 4200 (Driver ver. 8.1.9.5)
- sound board: Realtek AC'97 (Driver ver. 5.10.0.5740)
- os: WinXp (ServicePack 2)
- game: Inherit The Earth (german Version: Erben der Erde)
- problem: game can smoothly be installed using DosBox. when trying to start the message "cd is an audio cd!" appears. the cd is from an old bestseller games magazine.
- reproducibility: everytime trying to start the game
- sound mode: (don't know the required - check conf-file attached to post
- video mode: surface (don't know, if this is the required information - otherwise check conf-file attached to post)
- emulator: DosBox ver. 0.63
- taken measures: the were no problems reported on the DoxBox Website, that are similar to mine. this is the only note to this game:
i already tried to get some help from another forum - without success.note from MAN-biker: CD-ROM version. Troubles with install. Installed game works good with all sounds, but with not much fps. (run on P4-2GHz/WinXP)
