Is there a way to run this under Win XP? And, if someone played it, would it work under DOS on modern PC? I already tried dosbox(0.63 and ykhwong's build) and Vdmsound - nothing happens, program loading and screen goes black. Game running through batch file, here it is:

@ECHO OFF
if exist main.exe goto play
install
goto Fin
:play
SETVOL
MAIN.EXE
:Fin

Here's my pc config: Celeron 1.7 GHz/abit sa 7(sis645dx)/1.25 Gb RAM/Radeon 9500 128 Mb/200+40Gb/sb live 5.1/Direct X 9.0c/Windows XP sp1

Of course I searched forum before posting. I use keywords b.a.t., bat, koshan, conspiracy and didn't find anything about this game, except info on site.

As far as I know B.A.T. 2 CD doesn't run on DOSBox (though the floppy version runs fine).

I'll play around with it some more soon and see if I can come up with some sort of solution...

Running B.A.T. 2 CD under Dosbox would be pretty cool. AFAIK it's the only DOS emulator around which can run B.A.T. 2 floppy ver. full with complete sound (which is, in fact, one of the best features of that game).

Last time I tried, VMware could successfully run BAT 2 CD without sound though.

* src/ints/xms.cpp: Don't change reg_bl on succes. (Fixes B.A.T 2
CD version)

I will put the list on my test list though. I ran from a cd image btw.

Go to my link in the signature. I tested it and it works like a charm! 😀

EDIT: I ran it from a CD, not from image, but it would probably be best to run from image.
