Hi,

Questprobe featuring The Hulk uses the command 'mode co40' in order to enable graphics in the game. However, it appears the mode command is not recognized by DOSBox. Therefore, the game automatically plays in 'mode co80', which is text only.

None of the machine settings make a difference (VGA, Tandy, CGA...etc). Is it even possbile to enable this mode under DOSBox 0.65? Or is there a way to convince the game that such a mode is running? Even though the command appears not to be supported, does the graphic mode co40 (Color with 40 lines) exist under DOSBox?

You can try using mode from the MS-DOS disks. If FreeDos has an equivalent utility you may want to try that first.

Nice hint DosFreak, DosFree has many tools that might prove usefull for Dosbox. Trebor, here's mode.com from the latest version of FreeDos (notice: you must use capitals, mode CO40)
