As you can see I'm new to the site, so don't kill me if this is posted in the wrong place. Hopefully someone'll be able to help me with this... When I run the game Apocalypse Abyss, there's a very annoying sound issue. I read the only comment for the game which says that the sound might stutter or pitch-bend. I get the latter sometimes, but the real issue is this loud constant beep that seems to dominate all of the other sounds in the game.

I'm using a Plantronics headset for my sound system, but the problem also occurs when I switch to my SB Audigy 2 card. I've messed around with cycles, frameskip, game config, etc. Nothing seems to work. The beeping only seems to occur after the intro screen, so maybe it has something to do with the game loading or something? I don't know much about these kinds of programs so bear with me. 🤣
