I have a problem by saving a game in Manchester United - The Official Game. I'm using dosbox 0.65, and I have mounted a local directory as my floppy drive (my computer doesnt have a floppy drive). MUFC cant accept the local directory as a floppy drive! What should I do?
Is the emulated floppy drive labeled "-t floppy" in the autoexec area of your Dosbox config?

Drive letters A and B are usually reserved for FLOPPY DRIVES.

Always the same error message? What exactly?
Most likely some low level disk access, might/might not work when
booting msdos using disk images and having that game disk mounted
as image as well.
Do you happen to know if the game disk itseslf can be booted? Like
command.com is present there.

Then see above (create a bootable drive, imgmount the floppy image).
I created a virtual floppy drive in Windows and mounted it in dosbox as A:. It didn't help.
This will only have an effect if you boot msdos/freedos using another
disk image. Have a look at the guides forum for how to do that.
