Hi, i just installed DOS BOX on my computer. I have windows xp and a dell computer
i have a game called," Wake of the ravager" i followed the picture by picture instructions. it seemed to work well. It come to the install screen, i click install wake of the ravager.
current settings
1.hard drive 2.Directory
C: /ravager
install the following when

3. speech 4. cinematics Regions
Now Now Now

Total space needed
76 megabytes

Start(enter) exit(esc)

then when i press enter it come up with the error
"error reading free drives bytes"
and i have more then 20 GB free space left.
Please help me give any hints or information

try installing the game from within your os. and see if the works then in DOSBox.
The game is probably doing something that DOSBox doesn't support yet when it comes to determining the amount of free space.

(you cound try
mount c c:\whateveryoupostedhere -freespace 500
)

Hi, I had the same exact problem and have been trying for over an hour various options but, none including the post by Qbix have worked. I was so excited when I found this neat program to make Dark Sun 2 work and now it wont 🙁. Please advise!
